Who We Are

The Biodiversity Is Life Initiative (BILI) is an accredited 501(c)(3) in Fort Worth dedicated to backfilling the loss of natural habitats caused by urbanization.

Our Mission is to re-establish migration corridors and transform concrete jungles into thriving habitats for native flora and fauna; to help every yard become part of a thriving ecosystem. 

Through our cutting-edge, 100% native-plant nursery on a 40-acre campus in Fort Worth, we provide free, locally sourced native plants and resources to transform urban yards into vibrant wildlife sanctuaries. We also offer pre-planted (containers) native options that can be delivered to homes.

By educating communities on sustainable gardening, we stitch together fragmented ecosystems, fostering migration corridors and restoring biodiversity.
